Nation Of Stories
Oral histories enrich our view of our country’s past by going well beyond what we learnt in school. During this talk, we speak about what oral history is, why it is important, and why The Citizens’ Archive of India was founded: to collect extraordinary stories from ordinary people. We recount personal memories of the birth and growth of India as a nation and make the history we know so well personal and relatable.
